Some of the NEXOGENESIS consortium partners were present at the EGU2023 conference!

Our project coordinator, Janez Sušnik from IHE Delft was invited to give a talk about the assessment of policy impacts in complete resources systems as part of a session related to the science-policy interface in hydrology.

University of Tours, KWR Water and Helmholtz-Zentrum für Umweltforschung were also present in Wien to present their work on methodological aspects of the assessment of WEFE nexus governance.

Our partner Eurecat developed a poster to be presented during the EGU23 Conference next 23-28 April 2023 in Vienna, Austria. The Eurecat team prepared an abstract with other entities, notably the University of Thessaly, another member of the NEXOGENESIS consortium! The abstract “How effectively (or not) can science and research be turned into adopted solutions and policies?” was presented as a poster during a session entitled “Multi-scale water-energy-food-environment (WEFE) nexus planning: from research to practice in managing socio-economic, climatic, and technological change” Learn more about the abstract: https://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU23/EGU23-15624.html
