This new brief brings together insights from our five case studies to highlight how governance, data, and cooperation can be strengthened to support water resilience across Europe and beyond. It provides actionable recommendations for policymakers on improving governance structures, investing in human capital, enhancing data interoperability, and fostering transboundary collaboration.
The brief builds on hands-on experiences, stakeholder engagement, and the use of the Nexus Policy Assessment Tool (NEPAT), offering a pathway to smarter, more integrated, and future-ready water-energy-food-ecosystem (WEFE) policies.
